The trade union Unionen is suing the Swedish airline Braathens after six cabin crew members were left without meal breaks on various flights, reports the news agency Siren.

The Union is demanding a total of SEK 105,000 in damages for breach of the collective agreement. For some, the break has not been taken, for others there was no food available when they had a meal break. The claims are SEK 5,000 per employee plus SEK 75,000 in general damages to the Union.

Braathens themselves are said to have admitted breach of contract, but had objections to the damages.
