
The multi-European aviation group Airbus has made a bold move by buying a Boeing supplier, which also has operations near Boeing's factories in Everett, near Seattle in the state of Washington, writes check-in.dk.
The acquired company is called MTM Robotics and is headquartered in Mukilteo, a few kilometers from Everett.
MTM Robotics has, among other things, supplied equipment for the production of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, Boeing 777 and Boeing 747. The company has also supplied robotic systems to Airbus' European factories for more than a decade, writes check-in.
Also on the customer list is Lockheed Martin, which manufactures the F35 Lightning fighter aircraft, among other things.
