Swedes who have been stranded in Peru due to the corona pandemic are on their way home, reports Swedish Radio Echo.
A total of around 290 Scandinavians are on a plane that took off from Lima on Thursday evening, the airline SAS told the radio. It is expected to land in Copenhagen in the morning.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms to Ekot that there are Swedes on board, but not how many.
SAS has organized the trip together with the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
