Icelandair lays off 2,000 employees – the rest will have to take time off or pay cuts

The Icelandic airline Icelandair announces that it intends to lay off 2,000 of its employees to cut costs in the wake of the corona crisis.

The remaining employees will either have to reduce their working hours or their salary. 

The group management team has also been reduced slightly – from nine to eight people.
