A vaccine against the coronavirus could be ready within a year in the most optimistic scenario, the European Medicines Agency (EMA) believes. The statement is based on data from studies currently underway, according to the EMA.
”We see it possible that some of them (the vaccines) could be ready for approval in a year, if everything goes according to plan,” says Marco Cavaleri, head of the EMA's vaccine strategy department.
