Norwegian's loss: Two billion kronor

The struggling airline Norwegian reports an operating loss of 2.2 billion Norwegian kronor for the first quarter. In the corresponding quarter last year, the loss was 1.5 billion kronor.

On Thursday morning, the Norwegian low-cost airline Norwegian presented its figures for the first quarter of 2020.

The company has decided not to present a full report for the first quarter, but only provide a financial update with key figures. According to Norwegian regulations, listed companies are only required to present full-year and half-year reports, while the presentation of quarterly figures is optional.
