Corona restrictions are now being further eased in the Spanish cities of Madrid and Barcelona, cities that have been hit hard by the new coronavirus.
Starting next week, city residents will once again be able to visit bars and restaurants with indoor seating. Previously, only outdoor seating was allowed to remain open for infection control reasons.
The announcement was made by Spain's Health Minister Salvador Illa during a press conference on Friday.
During the press conference, it was also announced that children will now be allowed to be outdoors at all times of the day, not only during the previously limited time periods.
