SAS will fire 560 of its pilots in Sweden, Norway and Denmark, writes SVT.

At the end of April, SAS gave notice of layoffs to almost half of its workforce, 5,000 people. Partly because travel had decreased by 98 percent as a result of the corona pandemic.

Now SAS chooses to lay off 560 of the pilots who were given notice.

– We are not impressed with how SAS has handled the process, says Martin Lindgren from the Swedish Pilots Association to SVT News.
