Boeing's crashed 737 Max will soon begin test flights by pilots from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), sources at the agency said. The plane will undergo three days of certification tests.

The model has been grounded since March 2019, after a total of 346 people died in two different crashes involving the aircraft type within six months.

Boeing itself has conducted hundreds of test flights with the plane.
