Hotel chain Scandic is making cuts in Norway in the wake of the coronavirus crisis. Around 1,000 full-time jobs will be cut, Norwegian media reports.
“"Scandic Norway has been hit hard by the corona crisis and is in a financially demanding situation. It is absolutely necessary to adapt operations to the new everyday life," says Asle Prestegard, CEO of Scandic Norway, in a press release.
The cuts will affect several parts of the business. Last year, Scandic Norway had 5,600 employees.
