The Spanish government on Tuesday launched another major aid package to save the country's economy. The equivalent of 18 billion kronor will help the transport sector, which has been hit hard in the country, which has been largely shut down during the pandemic.

The state railway Renfe will receive half of the sum, nine billion kronor, through loans. The rest of the sum will be given in grants to privately owned transport companies.
