The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) believes that Boeing has now progressed far enough in updating the accident-prone 737 Max model that test flights can begin.
EASA plans to start testing the Boeing plane in Vancouver, Canada, on September 7.
The Boeing 737 Max was grounded in March 2019 after two crashes that claimed hundreds of lives.
The American aviation authority has already begun testing the new Boeing 737 Max.
