As the aviation sector begins to recover, low-cost airline Ryanair has launched a remarkable sale, writes British newspaper Express. The company sells around 1 million tickets, with some one-way trips costing as little as 49 kronor.
The discounted fares are valid for 48 hours on selected trips in September and October.
On Wednesday, Ryanair also announced that the number of passengers during August amounted to 7 million, which is a decrease of 53 percent compared to the same period last year.
The number of flights was around 60 percent of the normal August schedule. The airline achieved a load factor of 73 percent during the month.
