Liseberg will not be open at all this year. The Christmas season, which was supposed to start in mid-November, has also been canceled.

In order to be able to carry out the season, Liseberg would have already needed to have notice of relaxations in the corona rules, according to the management of the municipally owned amusement park.

”"When the investigation into exceptions takes longer, we no longer see any possibility of carrying out the Christmas season," says Andreas Andersen, CEO of Liseberg, to Göteborgs-Posten.

However, a smaller area in the park will be used for serving Christmas food.
