Norwegian reduced the number of passengers by 90 percent to 319,370 in September, compared to the same month the year before. The month before, growth was -91 percent to 313,316 passengers.

If traffic is measured in revenue passenger kilometers, RPK, the airline's traffic decreased by 96 percent during the month (-96).

Capacity, measured as ASK, decreased by 93 percent in September (-94).

The cabin factor was 52.8 percent in September (62.1).

”"In September, several countries changed from yellow to red. We notice that demand is immediately affected when the authorities introduce new and stricter travel restrictions. We are continuously adapting the route network based on the situation, but the authorities' constant changes to travel restrictions make it very demanding to plan, both for us and for our customers. In the longer term, we also notice that this crisis is far from over," says Norwegian's CEO Jacob Schram.
