
The state-owned train operator SJ reports a loss before tax of SEK 289 million for the third quarter of this year. This compares with a profit of SEK 198 million in the corresponding period last year.
Net sales decreased to SEK 1,359 million, compared to SEK 2,048 million a year ago.
At the same time, SJ announces that the board has decided to borrow SEK 1.5 billion to partially finance the purchase of 30 new high-speed trains. The loan was disbursed in October.
