News about Covid regulations for travel to Spain: Children under 6 years old are now exempt from the PCR test requirement. Travellers by plane or boat to Spain can now also present a new type of test. The proof can also be written in German and French. Turespaña is launching a new campaign on travelling safely.
For air or sea travel to Spain, a health declaration must be completed. Anyone arriving in Spain from a high-risk country must also be able to present a negative COVID-19 test. The test must be either a PCR test or a TMA test. The test must be carried out within 72 hours prior to arrival in Spain. The result must be validated with an original certificate, in paper or digital format, in Spanish, English, French, or German.
Turespana is launching a communication strategy with the motto ”Travel Safe”. As part of the campaign, a website is being launched with information on general regulations and what the situation is like in different parts of Spain. There are also sections with recommendations based on the type of trip you wish to take, city tourism, sun and beach, etc.
