The dismantling of the large Gävle goat has now begun, writes Gefle Daily Newspaper. Thus, it can be stated that the goat has broken a new record. For the fourth year in a row, it has remained untouched without being damaged or burned down. This has never happened before for so many years in a row.

– I'm glad it was left alone, I've looked at the webcam from time to time and of course it's been a little nervous, even though I haven't been worried, says the goat's spokesperson Rebecca Steiner to the newspaper.

Webcam surveillance, double fences and 24/7 security are believed to have contributed to the goat remaining untouched.
