At Visby Airport, charging stations will be set up to charge small electric aircraft - it is a first step towards the electrification of aviation.
The initiative is being made together with GEAB, Region Gotland and Gotland Flying Club.
”"We are making this investment to be ready to take a step in this transition - when large planes arrive, we will be ready to load them," says airport manager Gunnar Jonasson.
