The British low-cost airline Easyjet reports increased booking rates ahead of the autumn season, as many are waiting to book summer trips.
”"If you compare to normal times, we are seeing relatively strong booking numbers in September, October and November," says CEO Johan Lundgren in an interview with the British public service channel BBC Radio.
The hesitation regarding summer bookings is due to uncertainty about which travel restrictions will apply, according to Lundgren. However, the plan is to increase capacity at the end of May.
