Tallink Grupp is reopening the route between Stockholm and Tallinn, after leaving the ferries at the quay for 16 months. The pandemic, with entry restrictions and reduced travel, made it impossible to keep the traffic running. But now things seem to be easing, according to Tallink Grupp.
From the beginning of July, a ship will operate the route every other day.
”"I am very pleased that the spread of infection has now decreased sufficiently and that vaccination has reached a point where quarantine-free travel between Sweden and Estonia is possible, and we can thus finally gradually start operations on this important route," writes Tallink Grupp CEO Paavo Nõgene in a press release.
