A SAS plane had to return to Arlanda today shortly after takeoff.
– The plane that was supposed to land in Visby at 12 noon received an indication of a possible technical fault shortly after takeoff and we then turned back for safety reasons, says Freja Annamatz, press manager for SAS.
Then the replacement plane was left stranded at Arlanda – due to a possible technical fault.
– We are investigating to see if the passengers should fly to Visby on that plane or another, says Freja Annamatz at 2 p.m.
– It's unfortunate, but safety always comes first. Now we'll get the passengers to Visby as quickly as possible.
