Aircraft manufacturer Airbus, the world's largest manufacturer of commercial jet aircraft, reports a substantial turnaround in results for the first half of the year as aircraft deliveries pick up again.
Net profit came in at 2.2 billion euros, equivalent to 22 billion kronor, during the first six months of the year. This compares with a loss of 1.9 billion euros during the same period last year.
Airbus expects to deliver 600 aircraft this year. The previous forecast was 566 aircraft, which corresponded to last year's level.
