Space tourism company Virgin Galactic surged nearly 10 percent on Tuesday after Jefferies began monitoring the stock with a buy recommendation.
According to CNBC Jefferies conducted a survey of people with a net worth of more than $1 million, in which a third of respondents said they were interested in traveling to space. About 20 percent said they were willing to spend 5 percent of their wealth to do so.
Jefferies further predicts that the company could reach sales of $1.7 billion by 2030, according to Finwire. In summary, the research house lands on a buy recommendation and a target price of $33 per share.
The stock rose 9.8 percent to $27.3 per share on Tuesday.
