After a tough time during the pandemic, the somewhat brighter summer looks set to hold for Scandic. The hotel chain's occupancy rate was around 58.5 and 53.5 percent in July and August, respectively, according to a press release.
Scandic now sees a promising autumn ahead, with occupancy rates expected to reach at least 50 percent in September, based on current bookings.
The increased booking activity that we are now seeing makes us have a positive view of the development for the coming months," says Jens Mathiesen, President and CEO of Scandic Hotels, according to a press release.
