Latvia is shutting down large parts of society, the government decided that a while ago.

The infection situation has deteriorated significantly in recent weeks and more than half of the population is still not fully vaccinated.

Starting Thursday, it will be prohibited to leave your home at night, shops and restaurants will remain closed, and children in middle and high school will gradually transition to distance learning. This will apply until November 15th.
