The Swedish Transport Administration backs down on train announcements

After announcing that train announcements at Swedish railway stations were to be removed, Trafikverket received sharp criticism from the Swedish National Federation for the Visually Impaired. Now they are backing down and have reintroduced the announcements, according to reports. P4 West.

– We have decided to wait with the change until our mobile app is ready in January, says Tomas Gustavsson, unit manager at Trafikverket, to the channel.

The exclamation mark disappeared from yesterday, but the decision has now been reversed.
