Orsa Predator Park is closing. The reason is a decrease in visitor numbers and increased costs, according to the owner, Grönklittsgruppen.
The closure will take place gradually during 2022 and the park will close to the public in October.
”"Declining visitor numbers and costs of running the park have resulted in significant losses for many years," says Mara Tara, CEO of Grönklittsgruppen, according to a press release.
The Grönklittsgruppen will now focus on finding new suitable homes for the park's animals.
Union negotiations regarding the liquidation will begin in January.
