An airplane en route from Los Angeles to Washington DC was forced to deviate from its course and make an emergency landing yesterday evening.

It happened after a passenger tried to break into the cockpit. When the man failed to get in to the pilots, he instead tried to open the plane door in mid-air, the pilot announced to the passengers after landing, according to local media.

The man had to be held down by staff and other passengers until the plane could land at the airport in Kansas City.

Upon landing, FBI agents stormed the plane and arrested the aggressive passenger, the FBI announced in a press release. Source:aftonbladet.se
