Scandic has recruited Carina Eriksson who recently took up the position as Hotel Director for Scandic Västerås. Carina most recently came from the role of Customer Service Manager at Haglöfs and is thus making a comeback in the hospitality industry through her new role.

Carina is a well-known profile in the hospitality industry in Västerås, not least from her years as Hotel Manager at Steam Hotel. Carina has extensive experience in building strong employee teams and will be directly tasked with recruiting up to 15 positions to ensure a complete workforce for the high-intensity summer season.

– I am incredibly pleased that Carina chose to return to the hospitality industry and take on a new challenge as Hotel Director at Scandic Västerås. Carina will be an important addition to continue developing the hotel and the workforce as Scandic and the hospitality industry shift into high gear for the summer, says Kai Pasma, District Director for Central Sweden at Scandic Hotels.

– Being able to come back to the industry that I love and back to Västerås makes me so happy. Being able to be part of the restart of the industry together with the wonderful team and new employees at Scandic Västerås is of course a favor. Västerås is also a city that is especially close to my heart and I look forward to future collaborations with Västerås' business community, says Carina Eriksson, newly appointed hotel director for Scandic Hotel Västerås.
