Parts of Terminal 5 at Arlanda have been evacuated after a suspected illegal threat.
”"We have evacuated parts of Terminal 5 due to an illegal threat directed at an aircraft. This aircraft is empty," police spokesman Daniel Wikdahl told TT.
The alarm came in at around 11:30 a.m. The police do not want to go into the nature of the suspected threat, but have cordoned off an area around a gate in the terminal for security reasons.
”"It also affects some other gates, but as far as I understand, air traffic is still ongoing, but flights are being moved to other gates as much as possible," says Daniel Wikdahl.
The police have no suspects in the case.
”"We are preparing to examine this aircraft and checking that the parts we have blocked off are empty of people," says Daniel Wikdahl.
