Norwegian founder Bjørn H. Kise believes that SAS must fundamentally change its operations.
– In order to survive, they probably have to find a more cost-effective way of conducting business, where everyone has to contribute, says Bjørn H. Kise to Daily Newspaper.
He also says that the situation between SAS and the pilots looks dark.
– It is a special situation that when we have just ended the pandemic, where a lot of employees have not been able to work, that it then ends in a strike. I think it seems quite hopeless, both for the company and for the employees. What surprises me a little is that the pilots are no longer afraid for their jobs, says Kise.
However, he does not believe that the Danish state will allow the company to go bankrupt.
– If SAS were to disappear, it would have major consequences for Kastrup, so the Danish state will probably be prepared to go to great lengths to find a solution, says Kise
