Spanish authorities have ordered the evacuation of more than 1,000 residents from the towns of Alhaurin de la Torre and Alhaurin el Grande.

This is reported by the Spanish local newspaper Malagahoy.

They are being evacuated due to the spread of a forest fire in the Mijas area of Malaga, Spain.
