Lufthansa pilots will go on a two-day strike on Wednesday and Thursday, reports Süddeutsche Zeitung.
“The strike can only be averted with a serious offer from the company,” says Matthias Bauer, spokesperson for the Vereinigung Cockpit union.
The pilots went on their first strike on Friday, which led to the cancellation of around 800 flights. 130,000 travelers were affected.
The union's demands include a 5.5 percent wage increase this year and automatic inflation compensation, writes Reuters.
