
Aircraft manufacturer Boeing knew there were safety flaws in the 737 MAX aircraft model, but claimed that the planes were still safe.
Now the company is forced to pay 2.2 billion kronor ($200 million) and Boeing's former CEO will pay 1 million dollars to the US Securities and Exchange Commission, CNN reports.
In 2018 and 2019, there were two crashes involving Boeing planes, killing a total of 346 people.
