Cruise companies collapse after report

Cruise company Carnival plunged by just over 20 percent after presenting its figures for the third quarter of the company's broken fiscal year. 

Carnival reported an adjusted net loss of $688 million, which was clearly worse than the expected minus $363.4 million according to Boomberg's compilation. 

The share lost $0.65 compared to the expected $0.18. 

The stock plummets 21.3 percent to $7.24 per share.
