The police were called to Arlanda when a suspicious object was found in a woman's bag at the security check. The object resembled a hand grenade but turned out to be fake.
– We were there and found that it was a dummy, says Tove Hägg, police spokesperson in the Stockholm region.
The woman explained that she uses the object in lectures she gives. She was then able to continue her journey.
– If you have an item that could cause these questions at security, you should consider checking the item in or contacting the airline in advance, says Tove Hägg.
