800 passengers on a cruise ship have been infected with the coronavirus, reports BBC.
A total of around 4,600 people are said to be on the ship, which has now landed in Sydney, Australia.
Marguerite Fitzgerald, president of the cruise company Carnival Australia, says several of the cases were discovered about halfway through the twelve-day voyage.
Most people who are infected will not show symptoms, or severe symptoms.
Those who are infected will receive assistance with transportation from the cruise to accommodations where they can be quarantined.
