32,943 new cases of covid-19 have been reported in China on Friday morning, BNO News and Reuters report.
This breaks yesterday's record, and today's figure is the highest since the pandemic broke out.
On Thursday, over 31,454 new cases were reported. However, over 27,500 of them are reported to be asymptomatic.
The increasing infection rate has led to tough restrictions in China – with growing dissatisfaction as a result.
