Several companies have been able to reopen after Chinese cities begin to ease their zero-covid policies, writes TT.

The government is now calling for new ways to deal with the coronavirus after the widespread protests against the restrictions.

In Beijing, for example, many businesses have reopened completely. As of Monday, commuters will not need to show negative corona tests taken less than two days before the trip.

No fresh tests are needed in Shanghai to visit parks and tourist attractions, and mass testing has been suspended in Hangzhou.
