After ten years in various leadership positions within MTR, Henrik Dahlin, CEO of MTR Nordic, is moving on to a new assignment. The process to appoint his successor has begun.

Henrik Dahlin has worked at MTR since 2013 in various leadership positions and has been CEO of the metro operations and CEO of the commuter train company. For the past two years, he has been CEO of the Swedish parent company MTR Nordic.

MTR's Swedish operations today include the Stockholm Metro, Stockholm commuter train, Mälartåg and MTRX, which runs high-speed trains between Stockholm and Gothenburg, as well as the vehicle maintenance company MTR Tech and MTR Facility Management with cleaning, graffiti removal and office services.

In recent years, punctuality and satisfaction among both metro and commuter train passengers have reached record levels. At the same time, MTRX has been named Sweden's best train company for six years in a row and ranked as one of Sweden's three most innovative companies by the Swedish Innovation Index. 

– It has been a fantastic journey to be able to do together with all the incredible employees at MTR. Together we have developed public transport and taken train travel in Sweden to new, high levels. I am very proud and grateful for that, says Henrik Dahlin.

The process to appoint a new CEO for MTR Nordic has begun. Henrik Dahlin will remain as CEO for the coming months.
