Scandic's results and revenue came in higher than expected

Hotel company Scandic reports an adjusted EBITDA result of SEK 170 million for the first quarter of 2023. Analysts had expected an average of SEK 112 million according to Infront's estimate compilation.

Total revenue was SEK 4,526 million in the quarter, compared to average expectations of SEK 4,099 million. 

Revpar (average revenue per available room) was SEK 626 in the first quarter, compared to expectations of SEK 395.

Net profit was SEK -302 million (-639). Earnings per share were SEK -1.63 (-3.35).
