Train traffic to and from Arlanda has been stopped due to a fire alarm at Terminal 2, reports P4 Stockholm.

SL's commuter and long-distance trains past Arlanda will be affected by the stop. Arlanda Express trains will not be affected by the stop.

– Some people had to be evacuated from the platform as there was some smoke, but there is no ongoing fire now and things should be calm at the scene, says Anders Dahlman, press spokesperson for the police.

The fire is believed to have started in a switchboard. The cause of the fire is under investigation, but police believe it was some kind of work that went wrong. 

– Right now there are around 100 people waiting for a train, otherwise it's quiet, says Anders Dahlman.
