Ryanair has placed an order for 300 new aircraft, writes The Guardian.

The cost of the aircraft is up to 40 billion dollars, just over 400 billion kronor.

The billion-dollar deal could create 10,000 new jobs and double the number of passengers Ryanair can carry per year over the next decade.
