Skara Sommarland opens for the season on June 3rd and this year's commercial has now been released. The theme is about how comical a perfectly normal summer behavior from the new attraction BadringsBumpers can appear in the gray everyday world, where both colleagues and coffee-drinking pensioners are knocked over with full force.
BadringsBumpers – So much fun that you can't stop. That's Skara Sommarland's slogan in the commercial for the park's latest attraction, BadringsBumpers. The new attraction consists of round radio cars that resemble large badrings where you and others ride around on a track and "bump" into each other. In the commercial, we follow a woman who takes the fun from the attraction into everyday life. Wearing a badring, she crashes into people around her. We see an elderly couple in a café who have difficulty holding onto their croissants, colleagues flying in all directions and drinks being spilled. The music in the film, which has strong danban influences, was specially written by the artist Jakob Karlberg, known for his hit "Fan vad bra".
– We all know how some holiday habits linger well into the fall – some things are simply too fun and wonderful to stop. The goal of the film was to show, in a slightly twisted way, how crazy it gets when you take the wrong summer habits with you into everyday life. We simply wanted to show the comical and crazy situations that can arise when you take the feeling from the BadringsBumpers attraction into everyday life, says Johanna Lindh, advertising manager at Parks and Resorts.
The advertising campaign started on May 15 and consists of a longer 30-second film and several shorter versions. The film will be broadcast on TV4 Play and on digital channels such as Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram and YouTube. The film is produced by Makeriet and directed by Linus Nordström and can be seen in its entirety here: https://youtu.be/-7mSXKxLcMA
