SAS plans to suspend direct flights between Stockholm Arlanda and Chicago this winter, reports Check-in.dk.
From October 29, when the winter traffic program is put into operation, and until March 30, SAS will not offer direct flights between Chicago and Stockholm. Passengers will instead have to be directed to Copenhagen, according to an internal message to which the news service refers.
”"Affected passengers will be rebooked to Copenhagen-Chicago or Stockholm-Newark," it says.
For the 2024 summer program, SAS expects to reintroduce the direct route between Chicago and Stockholm.
