TUI is expanding its charter programme from Växjö Småland Airport this winter with a brand-new charter destination: Tenerife.

This winter, it will be possible to choose even more destinations from Växjö Småland Airport. TUI is launching charter flights to the popular Canary Island of Tenerife with four departures between 21 November 2023 and 12 March 2024, including during the sports holiday.

– The Canary Islands are among our most popular winter destinations, with their pleasant climate and much-loved culinary culture. It therefore feels exciting to now be able to announce the new route to Tenerife from Växjö. We know that many travellers appreciate being able to fly to the sun from their regional airport, says Tommy Serban, commercial director at TUI in the Nordics.

In addition to Tenerife, TUI is also offering trips to Gran Canaria this winter. A change compared to last year is that flights to Las Palmas will depart on different weekdays throughout the season instead of a fixed weekday each week. The destination will be serviced between 1 November 2023 and 1 April 2024.

– We are very pleased that TUI sees the potential in our region in southeastern Sweden and has therefore decided to expand its offering from Växjö Småland Airport with Tenerife as a new destination. It feels very exciting that TUI will be offering Gran Canaria every week from the autumn half-term and also Tenerife on certain weeks, says Brett Weihart, Commercial Manager at Växjö Småland Airport.
