The police have found explosives in checked luggage at the Norwegian airport Kirkenes, the police told Norwegian TV 2.
The airport in Kirkenes, Norway, was evacuated on Sunday after police found explosives. No threats were made and it soon turned out to be an older grenade that was in checked luggage.
”"The luggage has been removed from the airport to a secure area," Finnmark Police District wrote on Twitter.
”"We are now working to investigate whether there are more explosives before we cancel the evacuation and resume normal conditions at the airport," it continues.
