For two days in a row, water temperatures have risen to around 38 degrees in the water at Manatee Bay, eight miles south of Miami, Florida.
This could be the highest temperature ever recorded in the world, according to meteorologists, reports TT.
“It's a potential record,” says meteorologist George Rizzuto.
There is no official record, but in July 2020, 36.7 degrees was measured in the Gulf off Kuwait in the Persian Gulf.
