Erik Mikael Karlsson will take office as CEO of Malmö Live Concert Hall on March 1, 2024.

After an extensive recruitment process, the board of Malmö Live Konserthus AB has decided to appoint Erik Mikael Karlsson as CEO & Concert Hall Manager of Malmö Live Konserthus. Erik Mikael Karlsson has extensive experience from the cultural sector, both as a leader and composer. 

Erik Mikael Karlsson is currently CEO of Norrlandsoperan, where he has done much appreciated work in putting the business on the map and strengthening national and international collaborations. He also has many years of experience in radio production from Sveriges Radio, where he was responsible for both live broadcasts and music programs.

Erik Mikael Karlsson will take office as CEO on March 1, 2024. Simon Törnqvist will continue as Acting CEO of the company until then.
